Denver Airport: Aircraft Strikes Person on Runway During Take-Off
An aircraft taking off from Denver International Airport struck a person who was running across the runway, with the engine reportedly catching fire after the impact, RTL reported on 9 May 2026. Passengers were evacuated via emergency slides; the victim's condition has not been disclosed.
