Berlin Renames Tiergarten Boulevard 'Helmut-Kohl-Allee' on 35th Anniversary of Reunification
Berlin officially inaugurated the Helmut-Kohl-Allee on 10 May 2026, renaming the former Hofjägerallee in the Tiergarten in honour of the late chancellor. The Berlin Senate had decided the renaming in late September 2025 to mark the 35th anniversary of German reunification. Mayor Kai Wegener led the inauguration.
